Matthew Harvey KC is an experienced and highly regarded arbitrator.  He is one of Australia’s leading Admiralty and maritime counsel.

Matthew has experience in ad hoc commercial arbitrations under the SCMA, ACICA, Resolution Institute, UNCITRAL, MLAANZ and other international rules. He has been involved in arbitrations in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Matthew has acted as counsel in numerous arbitrations, across different types of commercial disputes, including, carriage of goods by sea, international sale of goods, defective infrastructure, and commercial partnership.

He has published and spoken extensively and teaches at a Melbourne university.

He is based in Melbourne but, like most Australians, is very happy to travel.
